Misc cleanup 

- Remove unused mkWildEvBinder
- Use typeTypeOrConstraint - more symmetric and asserts that
  that the type is Type or Constraint
- Use text "foo" in JS, to make sure the rule fires
- Fix escape sequences in Python; they raise a deprecation warning
  with -Wdefault
