Build system destroys output
It seems that the binaries left in the source directories after a 'gmake' are stripped before installation when 'gmake install' is called. The stripping butchers them such that they output 'Killed' when executed.
By manually installing these binaries by hand, the build works perfectly however.
I have:
- GNU strip version 2.17.
- GCC 4.0.2 (from Blastwave)
GHC was built from vanilla sources with -O2.
NOTE: This problem existed for me with GHC 6.6.x also.
