8.10 branch has (leftover?) traces

I built the tip of the 8.10 branch and there are trace statements printed when compiling modules:

For example:

exprType TYPE: ByteString

It seems to come from CoreUtils.exprType but that function hasn't been modified, so something else is triggering them in a recent backport.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
