Document / promote grafana.gitlab.haskell.org
In the spring (I think), several hard-working people created grafana.gitlab.haskell.org, a performance dashboard for GHC. It appears to be up to date, with recent commits listed. But I have no idea at all about how to use it. Can I use it to visualize the behavior of an MR? What other fun features does it have? I don't know. :(
In particular, I'm keen to know whether it would be useful in this scenario: sometimes a patch has a questionable perf impact, with perhaps lots of little wibbles in both directions. But I'd like to know e.g. whether the stage-2 compiler took an appreciably longer time / allocations than it did before the patch, just to get a larger-scale test. I think grafana can deliver such information, but I don't know how to extract it.
I know I'm asking for more work here, but the impact of that work is magnified by the work already done in the spring at creating the resource that is, at present, hard (impossible?) for us to use.
