unpack_sums_6 flaky due to runtime dependence

Test unpack_sums_6 (added by 2b7d5ccc) uses wall clock time to check that an implementation using unpacked sums is faster than a non-unpacked implementation. This is incredibly fragile. I have marked the test as such. The test should be reworked to either measure allocations or rather removed entirely.
