`ghci --help` gives unhelpful error message
Running ghci --help
gives the following humorous output:
: cannot use `--interactive' with `--help'
Usage: For basic information, try the `--help' option.
This works with GHC 6.8.2 on Linux (x86) but evidently not with GHC 6.8.3 on Windows.
Although the error message, in this case, could be improved, it would be better if --help
(and --version
, maybe others) worked the same way as with ghc
, for both ghci
and ghc --interactive
.
