panic on :m *SomeModule followed by :reload, if SomeModule is already in scope

Steps to reproduce:

$ echo 'foo = 23' > Main.hs && ghci Main.hs 
*Main> :m *Main
*Main> :reload 
*Main *Main> foo
ghc: panic! (the 'impossible' happened)
  (GHC version 7.4.1 for x86_64-unknown-linux):
        plusProv
