@Phyx astutely points out in https://gitlab.haskell.org/ghc/ghc/-/merge_requests/8619#note_441903 that the RTS linker currently fails to honor constructor priorities. This may bite us before long since there is more C++ code in use in the ecosystem now which makes greater use of initializers.
