The GHC Steering Commitee has accepted [a proposal to define GHC2024](https://github.com/ghc-proposals/ghc-proposals/pull/613) as GHC2021 plus
* DataKinds
* DerivingStrategies
* DisambiguateRecordFields
* ExplicitNamespaces
* GADTs (and the implied MonoLocalBinds)
* LambdaCase
* RoleAnnotations
I believe the hope is that this will make it into GHC-9.10.
