Parallel job hangs
## Summary
Running in parallel when using ghc-9.14.1 after progressing for a few seconds to minutes with >100% CPU, the %CPU returns to 100% and hangs interminably. This does not happen with "+RTS -N1" nor is it an issue with ghc-9.12.2 in parallel.
Have also gotten error but not consistently:
14.1: internal error: END_TSO_QUEUE object (0x2ebc7b0) entered!
(GHC version 9.14.1 for x86_64_unknown_linux)
Please report this as a GHC bug: https://www.haskell.org/ghc/reportabug
Aborted (core dumped)
## Steps to reproduce
code at https://github.com/amnh/PhyG (main thread)
build binary:
cabal build PhyG:phyg --with-compiler ghc-9.14.1
execute binary with attached files.
phyg test.pg

## Expected behavior
Job should go to completion with a wall clock time and CPU time reported.
What do you expect the reproducer described above to do?
Progress for seconds to minutes with top at > 100% CPU and then stop progress screen updates with CPU down to 100%.
Job completes with ghc-9.12.2 in 894 seconds wall clock.
