GHC documentation package download
It would be nice, given the fragile nature of the toolchains used to make docs, to have a compiled documentation tree available as a tar file to just drop into a locally-built GHC. For various reasons I can't use the binary kits provided, and when I try to build the docs using the guidelines given the build fails horribly. This seems to break any use of haddock afterwards resulting in an unmaintainable mess. When it subsequently breaks, it complains about missing .haddock files under the installation tree. Having a readily un-tarrable distribution of the docs would do wonders in alleviating this problem.
