Do we still need HasSrcSpan, SrcSpanLess?

Now that !1970 (closed) has landed, I don't think HasSrcSpan serves any purpose. We could probably make the code simpler by removing it and all the dL-> patterns.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
