deriving Functor, Foldable, Traversable
It is possible to derive instance of Functor, Foldable and Traversable, as outlined in http://www.mail-archive.com/haskell-prime@haskell.org/msg02116.html.
I would request that support for this be added to GHC, also in the hopes that these derivings can become part of the standard in the future.
