* remove unused modules
  * delete unnecessary tex comments
  * delete paper
  * update .gitignore: we no longer need to ignore LaTeX build artifacts,
    as the paper has been removed from the repository.  We also ignore
    cabal sandboxes
  * update readme to link to the paper.
