driver: -j1 ctrl-c exception is caught

Using --make mode, Ctrl-C exceptions are caught by the worker which leaves the process hanging.

One solution would be to spawn the work into a separate thread.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
