Stack squeezing: Usefulness? Impact?
I recently remembered there is such a thing as stack squeezing. Who's purpose is to collapse a chain of update frames into a single update frame.
But there is barely any documentation and I couldn't really find anything on how important it is either.
I added traces to the code and when compiling nofib/spectral/simple it seems there is one successfull squeeze but that one squeezes 907 frames into one. So might be worthwhile. But I found it hard to find more about this.
