Allocation failures on Windows CI: insufficient resources

I was finally able to start tracking allocation failures on Windows, and my suspicions are confirmed that there have been a lot more of them recently. (Now that they are being retried, that may inflate the overall number, but the issue remains.)

The key phrases I am looking for are:

  • "osCommitMemory: VirtualAlloc MEM_COMMIT failed"
  • "out of memory allocating \d+ bytes"

The runner in question is 141, x86-64-win-1.zw3rk.com.

Other runners sometimes run out of memory, but this one seems to be having a really hard time in particular.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
