Re-introduce the use of hpath

Before windows support, we were using hpath for both the Path type and the io operations via hpath-io, which are magnitudes better than the directory package, which is a mess of non-atomic operations with no clear documentation on exceptions.

Since hpath still doesn't support windows, we have to get the AFPP going, before we can add windows support to hpath.
