Windows UX

I asked a friend of mine to install Haskell on Windows to test a program I wrote. I send him to https://www.haskell.org/ghcup/ and this is what he had to say

  • «when you view that page with JavaScript disabled it shows four sets of instructions and they seem to confusingly show duplicate steps (like this
  • «Do I need stack? I've said yes to get it going...»

My suggestion:

  • have the page behave gracefully sans-js or put a «you need javascript to see this»
  • install stack by default, new users do not even know what stack is
To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
