Feature request: ghcup update ghc stable

I was reading through fresh Rust release notes and noticed a neat way to get the latest release without specifying the version:

rustup update stable

Would it be possible (and make sense) to add something similar to ghcup? E.g.

ghcup update ghc stable

To get (install, if necessary, and set) the latest version released of GHC? Same for cabal, hls, stack, etc.

Somewhat less ambitious would be to have update as an alias to install (if necessary) + set (but with concrete version specified by the user), which right now is a bit tedious to do (two commands instead of one).
